Today was an okay day. I'm becoming more scared of not accomplishing anything in my life. I don't want normal accomplishments either. I love the thought of in 60 years being one of those old people who have so many great stories you could listen to them talk all day. I don't want to just be successful, I want everyone around me to be successful and I want them to be happy. New music by Mt. Joy came out last night and I'm really looking forward to their album coming out later this year. I've been a fan of Mt. Joy for 3 years as of this month and I've really enjoyed seeing them grow as a musical act. A lot more of my friends listen to them now and that makes me really happy. I don't share any direct emotional connection to the band but I feel a little bit of success knowing that 5-10 people who never would have listened to them before, now listen to them on a regular basis.

Song of the Day: Strangers - Mt. Joy. "If you want freedom, you better free someone"
Not only is this song important to me because it just came out last night, but also this line resonates with me. To me it means that if you want to truly live life free of what everyone else wants you to do, you also need to help others do the same thing.
